The task of a volunteer Heritage Steward is to carry out condition surveys of heritage assets within their local area. This involves visiting historic buildings, sites and open spaces to carry out a rapid assessment of its condition.
Volunteers can download information from this website and can enter the results by logging into the database. For those who are not confident with IT, the survey forms can be supplied by Heritage Lincolnshire and returned as paper copies.
There is no minimum expectation of volunteers who register as Heritage Stewards. We understand that some will want to offer lots of time while others will need to fit their contribution into their other commitments. Any help you can offer will be gratefully received!
