The conservation area boundary incorporates most of Common Way, Church Lane and Mill Lane. It extends from Wisbech Road/Main Road in the east to, but not including 1-8 Common Way to the north of that road.
The conservation area is primarily residential in nature.
The conservation are contains 4 Grade II and 1 Grade I (St Mary’s Church - C12, C13, C14, C15, C16, restored 1869) listed buildings. It also contains 2 un-listed buildings.
