The benefits of being a Heritage Steward

Heritage Steward social event

We offer our volunteers training, support and expertise, social events, feedback, news and updates.

Along with the ‘Introduction to becoming a Heritage Steward’ training sessions we also offer special interest events which allow our volunteers to develop their skills and knowledge further. These optional events cover a range of different topics such as architectural terms, photography, farm buildings, industrial archaeology and much more. Find out about forthcoming events here.

We also offer accreditation so that you can record the skills and experience you are gaining as part of the project.
