The conservation area occupies an area of 44.13 hecatres. It includes a section of High Street from Featherby Place extending southwards to incorporate St Catherines Road and a section along Cross O’Cliff Hill as far as Coningsby Crescent. The boundary also extends in a north easterly direction to include South Park Avenue and a section of Canwick Road.
