Spilsby

The focus of the conservation area is on the Market Place and High Street, Church Street and The Terrace. The conservation spreads out from this area to include parts of: West End, Spence Street, Ashby Road, Queen Street, Simpson Street, Halton Road, Stones Lane, Boston Road and to the west of town Eresby Avenue. The conservation covers a total area of 11.63 hectares.

The conservation is predominantly residential but also contains a high proportion of commercial properties especially around the Market Place.

The conservation area contains 31 listed buildings, 3 unlisted buildings of local importance and 1 Scheduled Ancient Monument (Spilsby market cross). All of the listed buildings are Grade II except for St James' church and churchyard (founded 1348 as a college of priests) which is Grade I.
