The conservation area covers most of the built village except for properties on Cliffe View, Chapel Close (to the east of the former Primitive Methodist Chapel), 4-8 Thorpe Drove and all properties south of Pinfold Lane. The conservation area also incorporates areas of Rauceby Hall Park to the east of Main Street. The conservation area covers a total of 8.84 hectares.
The conservation area is predominantly residential.
The conservation area contains 10 Grade II listed buildings and 3 unlisted buildings of local importance.
