Raithby

The conservation area covers the whole of the built village (except for all the properties west of Red House on Raithby Road) as well as areas of open green space especially to the south-east as it incorporates Raithby Hall and park. The conservation area covers a total area of 14.30 hectares.

The conservation area is predominantly residential although it also contains much green space.

The conservation area contains 10 listed buildings including the Grade II* listed Holy Trinity Church (dating back to the 12th century) and the Grade I listed Methodist Chapel and Stables at Raithby Hall (c.1760, altered 1779 by Robert Carr Brackenbury and dedicated by John Wesley on 5th July 1779).
