Leadenham

The conservation area is linear in form and runs north-south thereby encompassing the most of the built village (all of which lies to the west of Main Road). The northern part of the boundary runs from the rear boundaries of the properties to the north of Waterloo Paddock. To the south the boundary follows the southern boundaries of Leadenham House, the churchyard and nos. 19 and 21 Cliff Road. The conservation area covers a total of 25.90 hectares.

The conservation area is predominantly residential.

There are 20 listed buildings in the conservation area including 2 Grade II* (The Old Hall - c1600, c1700 and early C19 and Leadenham House - 1790-9 with additions 1826-9) 1 Grade I (St Swithun's church and churchyard - C13. C14. C15. 1841 and C20). There are also 3 unlisted buildings within the conservation area of local importance.
