The conservation area incorporates properties to both sides of Kirton Holme road between the junction with Beck Bank in the north to the southern edge of ChristChurch. The conservation area also incorporates the house, stables and grounds of Holme House. The conservation area covers a total area of 2.01 hectares.
The conservation area is predominantly residential.
The conservation area contains 2 Grade II listed buildings and 1 unlisted building of local importance.
