The conservation area boundary follows the northern boundary of Manor House Farm and then the churchyard before cutting south to a natural field boundary south of Glebe Farm. It then runs up Oasby road before veering north-east to encompass all of the properties abutting Oasby Road but at the same time excluding all of the modern farm buildings of Holme Farm and the residential properties to the north of Oasby Road. The conservation area covers a total of 2.68 hectares.
The conservation contains a mixture of residential and agricultural properties.
The conservation area contains 2 listed buildings: Kate’s Cottage (Grade II – a 17th century House) and St Andrew’s Church and churchyard (Grade I - C12, C13, C14. Tower and spire rebuilt 1850.)
