The conservation area is centred along Church Street; it extends outwards to incorporate Brook Street to the north, Weldon Road to the south and Bunkers Hill to the east. It occupies an area of 15.06 hectares.
There are 6 listed buildings within the conservation area including All Saint’s Church (II*). There are also 3 buildings of local interest.
