Heckington village

The conservation area covers the central section of the village and thereby encompasses the historic core of the settlement. It has an area of 25.21 hectares and covers the area around Church Street, High Street, St Andrew’s Street, Eastgate and Cameron Street.

The conservation area is primarily residential with some small commercial properties.

The conservation area contains 18 Grade II and 1 Grade I (St Andrew's church and churchyard - c.1307, later C14, restored in 1867 by Kirk and Parry and in 1887-8 by J. Fowler of Louth) listed buildings. There are also 7 unlisted buildings of local importance.
