The conservation area covers the majority of the village; it runs along the High Street (A18) and extends southwards to include Grasby Road, Church Lane and St Peter’s Close. It occupies an area of 22.36 hectares.
There are 16 listed buildings within the conservation area including Pelham Mausoleum (I) and St Peter’s Church (I). There is also 1 building of local importance.
