Fulbeck

The conservation area runs south down Cliff Road and around the boundary of Washdyke Farm before heading west following the rear boundaries of the properties to the south of Washdyke Road. It then crosses Sudthorpe Hill before heading north across Brant Road and up Bulby Lane and North End Lane before rejoining Cliff Road. The conservation area covers a total of 27.14 hectares.

The conservation area predominantly contains residential properties as well as a number of current and former agricultural buildings.

The conservation area contains 23 listed buildings. Out of these 1 is Grade I listed (St Nicholas’ Church – C10th-18th with late 19th century restoration) and 4 are Grade II* listed Fulbeck Manor (C17 with C18 and C19 alterations), Fulbeck House (c. 1700 with alterations and additions of late C18, C19 and C20), Fulbeck Hall (fragment of early C17 house, main block of 1733 with additions of 1784, 1802, 1840, 1894 and 1934) and the gates of Fulbeck Hall (c. 1733).
