Donington

The focus of the conservation area is on High Street and the properties that front that thoroughfare. Church Street, Quadring Road, School Lane, Park Lane and the grounds of The Park are also included. The conservation area covers a total of 20.33 hectares.

The conservation area is predominantly residential but it also includes a number of commercial properties.

There are a total of 22 listed buildings and 24 unlisted buildings of local interest within the conservation area. Out of the listed buildings 19 are Grade II, 2 Grade II* (The Peacock Guest House and Church House) and 1 Grade I (St Mary’s and Holy Rood church - C13, C14, C15, restored in 1868 and 1896).
