Burgh le Marsh

The conservation area incorporates much of the historic core of the village and therefore includes most of the properties on High Street, Church Street and Brewery Street. The conservation area also includes some properties on Orby Lane/Road, Jackson’s Lane and Old Chapel Street. The conservation area covers in total 7.85 hectares.

The conservation area is primarily residential but it also contains a number of commercial properties along High Street.

There are 16 listed buildings in the conservation area. All of the listed buildings are Grade II except for the Church of St Peter and Paul (c.1500, 1702, late C18, restored c.1871) which is Grade I.
