The conservation area covers the area of land sandwiched between Fishtoft Road and The Haven which has at its centre Skirbeck Hall (Grade II) and the Parish Church of St Nicholas (Grade II*). The conservation area covers a total of 5.43 hectares.
The conservation area is primarily residential as it contains a new development within its northern boundaries.
