Corby Glen

The conservation area boundary follows the rear of the building plots to the north of Irnham Road before turning south before Tanners Lane. It continues south skirting around boundaries before crossing Barleycroft Road where it turns west running to the rear of properties before following the road itself and thereby excluding a collection of post-war properties. The boundary continues westwards until reaching Tanners Lane where it turns east and follows The Green and Swinstead Road before turning north towards the St Johns Drive/Moreleys Lane. It then turns east following the boundary of The Rectory and the churchyard before turning north to rejoin Irnham Road (but excluding the Coronation Road development). The conservation area covers a total of 16.19 hectares.

There are 29 listed buildings within the conservation area including 2 Grade I listed buildings. These are: the Reed Grammar School (late 17th century) and St John the Evangelist church (12th century origins with 19th century restorations).
