Belton

The character of Belton conservation area is dominated by the model village that was created in the early to mid 19th century. Very little development has occurred since its creation and none since 1896. The heart of this model village can be found where Main Road curves and widens as it moves north where there is a collection of fine buildings including: Greyhound Lodge, The Coach House, the Old Rectory, Home Farmhouse, the village pump (and milestone and the K6 telephone kiosk, all grade II structures. The conservation area covers a total of 4.49 hectares.

The conservation area primarily consists of residential properties.

There are approximately 25 grade II listed buildings in the conservation area. Parts of the conservation area also overlap with Belton deer park and the gardens of Belton House.
