Barholm

The conservation area includes all of the residential properties for the last property on the left travelling east out of the village. These properties line the only three roads in and out of the village. The conservation area covers a total of 6.7 hectares.

Most of the buildings in the village are residential properties but there are also a number of agricultural buildings that reflect the rural character of the conservation area.

The conservation area contains 15 listed buildings including: St Martin’s Church (Grade I with elements dating back to the 11th century) and Barholm Old Hall and Park (Grade II* dating back to the 15th century with 17th and 19th century alterations).
