The conservation area boundary runs north-east up Bottesford Road (taking in the churchyard), Main Street and The Green taking in Eastleigh and Eastleigh South Cottage. The boundary then follows the rear of the properties on Side Street before cutting south across Gonerby Lane and Bottom Street. It then follows the line of boundaries before cutting across Sedgebrook Road and following the southern boundary of Dalestorth Farm and the Manor House. The conservation area covers a total of 7.54 hectares.
The conservation area primarily consists of residential properties.
There are 5 Grade II listed buildings within the conservation area and two Grade II* listed buildings (the Manor House and Holy Trinity church).
