Heritage Stewards enjoyed an afternoon looking around Doddington Hall & Gardens yesterday at the Lincolnshire Heritage at Risk summer social event.
The visit was arranged to thank the volunteers for their dedication to the project, which aims to survey over 9,000 of Lincolnshire’s historic assets over a three year period.
Project Officer Natalie Hamilton said:
Our volunteers have shown a tremendous amount of support and enthusiasm, we are just over a year in to the project and already they have completed over 4,000 surveys!
A guided tour of the historic hall was followed by tea and scones in the newly opened coach house providing an opportunity for the volunteers, who come from all over the county, to meet and chat to project staff.
